You’ll be responsible for all commercial and client-facing aspects of the product, management of internal stakeholders, development of roadmaps and feature prioritisation. The Product Lead is also accountable for the production of product management artefacts and marketing collateral, and acts as a product SME supporting sales efforts

What will the goals of my role be?

Reporting to the Head of Retail Product, you will develop, implement and continuously improve our go to market strategy for our algorithm and data based products, ensuring market and client fit as well as seeking additional customer insight to better develop the product. You’ll effectively act as a CEO for the product.

We are seeking an independent people driven professional with a strategic mindset and an engaging communication style. Strong partnering skills will be required for this role as well as the ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments while focusing on your ideal outcome.

We know you’re not a bullet point, but here is what you will be doing:

  • Leading a cross-functional team to deliver the product to current and future clients, including both BAU process operations and new feature development
  • Driving the evolution of the product into a growth phase, scaling up to support multiple clients
  • Liaising with clients to manage the pipeline of new feature development
  • Handling commercial aspects of the product, including
    • Pricing strategy for new clients
    • Development of standard commercial terms
    • Signoff responsibility for negotiated terms where these deviate from the standard
    • Accountable for profitability of the product and management to budget
    • Balancing client requests with delivering sustainable and profitable growth for Quantium
  • Liaising with internal sales teams, both domestic and international, to support product sales efforts
  • Supporting sales efforts as a subject matter expert on Quantium’s capability
  • Working with key stakeholders to develop a strategy and associated roadmap for Quantium’s capability
  • Market analysis including assessment of competitor threats, market changes and competitor strategy, and defining where the value proposition of Quantium’s solution sits in the market
  • Managing the delivery of new features in the roadmap, including features driven by analytics, interface and category coverage expansion
  • Liaising with internal support teams to ensure the platform and other internal support requested by the delivery team is available
  • Development, tracking and reporting to the wider business of core product performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement within the delivery team
  • Monitor staff performance providing regular feedback and determine strategies to help improve performance and address issues promptly
  • Promoting awareness of the product capability across the wider business, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on the capability is widely available and accessible
