The Role

This role sits within our driven, passionate and friendly FMCG team – we thrive within Quantium’s unique, fast-paced environment and we also know how to enjoy and celebrate our successes. This role will be based in our Melbourne office with some travel required to client offices (normally 1 to 3 days per week depending on client’s needs).

 

In this role, you will be providing answers to key business questions around promotional activities, category range, marketing, market trends and overall strategy. You will have a flair for relationship management, an analytical mind, a thirst for understanding customers and thrive in a collaborative environment.

 

As part of your role, you will:

  • Manage and own a portfolio of approx. 2-3 FMCG clients, building relationships, understanding their business needs, working in collaboration with our team of technical analysts and interrogating data with Quantiums tools to provide analytical recommendations and solutions to client problems 
  • Be accountable for identifying commercial opportunities and delivering return-on-investment for your clients
  • Advocate for Quantium’s analytical products e.g. Q.Checkout, Q.Shelf, Q.Shopper and Q.Promotions
    • Leveraging these tools to provide insights or working in collaboration with our Analysts to conduct a deep-dive or bespoke analysis
    • Using a trusted advisor approach to educate and demonstrate the value of Quantium’s products to drive uptake with clients 
  • Attending and participating in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions

 

About you

  • Approximately 2-4 years of experience (with relevant tertiary qualifications) within a related role leveraging data to generate insights that solve business problems
    • Experience within an FMCG / supermarket business in buying, sales, marketing, media or an account management related role will be highly regarded
    • Knowledge and experience interpreting large data sets (e.g. customer / shopper data) and deriving relevant insights to solve commercial problems
    • We will also consider candidates with similar experience in a consulting environment (FMCG industry experienced will be highly regarded)  
  • A strong business development and commercial mindset
  • Excellent client leadership capability and confident presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and regularly changing environment, juggling multiple stakeholders and projects
  • Loves collaborating within a supportive and high performing environment
