Internal Communications Lead

Reporting to, and providing support to Quantium’s Group Executive, P&C and her senior leadership team, this critical role manages the planning, advice and execution of change, internal communication, and engagement strategies to achieve the People & Culture (P&C) strategic objectives. With a key focus to design, execute and manage Quantium’s global internal communications strategy, the role ensures every team member is informed and inspired, aligning culture with organisational strategy.

Key responsibilities and activities

  • Strategic development and ongoing analysis of the global internal communications strategy. Outputs include; establishment of company narrative, management of all internal communication channels, delivery of culture and change agenda across organisation-wide initiatives, and creation and execution of a rich content program and calendar (including digital)
  • Design and delivery of the company purpose and culture program, an ongoing initiative to codify the company culture to engage, inspire and foster exceptional employee relations and performance. Pivotal program with regards to employee engagement, recruitment, P&C external thought leadership presence – bringing the Quantium culture to life
  • Write and co-write in partnership with P&C representatives and business executives all communications, collateral and online media that will be sent to / shared with Quantium employees. This spans writing email communications, notes for speaking engagements, PowerPoint materials, Social Media Employer Brand / EVP and posts, and other collateral for matters relating to organisation design and structures, HR, culture, diversity and inclusion, and recruiting.
  • Close collaboration with the Marketing function and with Quantium’s Chief of Staff, ensuring
    alignment between internal and external content programs and strategy
  • Manage and enhance existing communication channels and develop new ones to improve
    collaboration and employee engagement
  • Under the direction of the GE - P&C and in conjunction with the CEO and his Chief of Staff,
    support the content build for the annual Quantium Day celebration across multiple office
  • Thought leadership work for the P&C Executive team on data analytics and AI + other
    industries/products as required
  • Provide People & Culture inputs for the monthly Business Update Meetings broadcast across
    seven global offices, bi-monthly business unit town halls and quarterly global P&C newsletter
  • Develop and deliver change management and communication strategies to support the framing
    and rollout of People & Culture initiatives throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead engagement across specified projects and initiatives, from early planning to delivery (e.g.
    Career Framework)
  • Change management lead for key organisational-wide initiatives and programs including, but not
    limited to; business restructure messaging, career framework implementation and remuneration
  • Protect and promote People & Culture’s reputation and identity, deliver strategic advice and
    issues management to support successful business partnering

Experience and education required

  • 5 years’ + experience in internal communications, stakeholder engagement, community relations, change management, consulting or related field
  • Degree or post graduate qualified, ideally in HR, Communications or Business Management
  • Experience working in a high growth, ambiguous environment, ideally within a People & Culture / HR function
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging multi-channels with strong digital capability
  • Ability to develop and implement communication and change strategies and plans to support the entire lifecycle of a project/initiative
  • Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships and partnering with senior business stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen with the capability to liaise with, and coach, a broad range of stakeholders including Group Executives
  • Ability to understand and communicate project issues clearly and accurately as it relates to stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support and manage Executives and stakeholder expectations
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects across different locations
  • Experience executing BAU requirements in high volume, as well as juggling the development and execution of projects / initiatives that improve the overall P&C landscape
  • Desirable - certification in a change management framework (e.g. PROSCI, CMI or similar)
  • Desirable - coaching qualifications
