Role summary

 

The Executive Manager, FMCG plays a key role in delivering world class products and consulting services to Quantium’s FMCG clients. This role is accountable for managing part or our FMCG consulting function and plays a key support role to the Executive, FMCG in growing the business to meet revenue objectives and building a strong, high performing team.

 

Using your deep expertise in leveraging data to generate insights and make actionable recomendations, you will help our FMCG clients to think about data in a different way, ideate and deliver new products and unlock the transformational opportunities our clients have when they put their data to work at scale.

 

You will play a commercial and people leadership role that develops and maintains relationships with clients and leads and builds high performing consulting teams to deliver outstanding solutions to our clients. .

 

This person will also be a key member of the FMCG and broader ANZ Markets leadership team and work closely with key members across the business to grow ANZ markets more broadly. They will also interact with client stakeholders from junior to director level to support the FMCG consultants as needed.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support the FMCG Executive and Leadership Team to deliver FMCG objectives
  • Oversee and manage successful delivery: leading a team of consultants and analysts to design and deliver solutions across multiple projects
  • Team management: building and managing the FMCG consulting team ensuring they have the right capabilities and resources to deliver outstanding work to our clients
  • Drive business development and senior client management 

 

Experience, education and skills required

  • 10+ years’ experience with at least 3 years operating at a senior level in a client engagement / consulting capacity in a data analytics / insights company or FMCG / retail industry
  • A strong understanding of the FMCG landscape and how advanced analytical techniques, concepts and tools e.g. data component, insights generation, model / algorithm build can be applied to solve business problems
  • Degree qualified in a related discipline
  • Experience selling and delivering large complex projects
  • Experience having led high performing teams
  • Strong leadership capability, being able to motivate teams and achieve objectives within a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Sharp problem-solving skills with experience partnering with clients and stakeholders to solve complex commercial problems using a data driven approach
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior client executives on difficult business issues, leveraging capability to build long-term relationships
