Our team works with clients across a variety of industries including Insurance, Retail, FMCG, Banking, Consumer Services, Property and Health to identify their data and analytics needs and deliver the best combination of analytics products, bespoke analytics services and media execution.

Main headquarters are in Australia; however, we have recently opened an Auckland office and are expanding internationally with on-going projects in Asia, North America and Africa.

  • Automating the modelling for a major insurer allowing their team to focus on more value-added decision support
  • Developed software providing insights into the behaviour of supermarket customers as it relates to a variety of factors including price, promotion and ranging
  • Pioneered the use of transactional banking data to provide deep customer insights for use by banks and merchants
  • Supporting our insurance clients to improve their monitoring, reserving and pricing capabilities
  • Working with government organisations to eliminate fraudulent health claims and lower the cost of delivering health services

What we are looking for 

We are looking for data analysts who are passionate about solving client business problems using large, complex data sets and are interested in the wider application of analytics and data science across different industries.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience scoping and applying statistical techniques and have a passion for enhancing customer insights through applied analytics, as well as:

  • A degree in Actuarial, Mathematics / Statistics or similar
  • Knowledge in statistical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, EMBLEM and the desire to learn new coding languages and big data technologies
  • A flair for data visualisation
  • Ability to translate data into insights and communicate high level recommendations to clients
  • Flexibility.  Our Auckland office is in its early stages and so many projects will be based out of Australia or other countries, requiring a flexible working style, and a degree of travel

We would also be interested in candidates wanting to move permanently to Australia.
