Our partnership with Woolworths means that we have un-paralelled access to customer behaviour data of over 10 million customers that we leverage to provide insights for Woolworths and FMCG supplier clients. The Role

 

This role sits within our driven, passionate and friendly FMCG team – we thrive within Quantium’s unique, fast-paced environment and we also know how to enjoy and celebrate our successes. This role will be based in Quantium’s head office in Sydney CBD with some travel required to client offices (normally 1 to 3 days per week depending on client’s needs).

 

As a senior consultant, you will be managing senior client relationships and delivering analytical solutions to key business problems such as promotional activities, category range, marketing, market trends and overall strategy.

 

You will also play a key role in providing technical & commercial guidance to junior team members that fosters a positive and engaged culture for the FMCG team.

 

 

As part of your role, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Client management: manage own portfolio of approximately ~2-4 clients; build and maintain positive working relationships with key client stakeholders. Clients may be small, medium or large; expectation to own small and medium sized and play a stronger / lead role with large clients
  • Delivering analytical solutions through bespoke analysis and projects; able to juggle multiple complex project requirements across a range of different clients; effectively resourcing project elements to the correct individuals even if they fall outside their immediate location team
  • Using a trusted advisor approach, upsell and cross sell projects and products to new and existing clients g. Projects, incremental FTE, product bundles
  • Contributing to a high-performing, knowledge focuse, collaborative, positive and engaged culture for the FMCG team
  • People management and leadership for direct reports (~1-3 direct reports) providing technical support, managing the performance review process and championing your teams career progression within Quantium

 

About you

 

  • Approximately 5 – 8 years of experience (with relevant tertiary qualifications) within a related role leveraging data to generate insights that solve business problems
    • Experience within an FMCG / supermarket business in buying, sales, marketing, media or an account management related role will be highly regarded
    • Knowledge and experience interpreting large data sets (e.g. customer / shopper data) and deriving relevant insights to solve commercial problems
    • We will also consider candidates with similar experience in a consulting environment (FMCG industry experienced will be highly regarded)  
  • A strong commercial mindset
  • Excellent client leadership capability
  • Proven capability in managing complex negotiation conversations and the ability to effectively sell ideas / complex concepts
  • Strong communication skills and confident presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and regularly changing environment, juggling multiple stakeholders and projects
  • Loves collaborating within a supportive and high performing environment
