Data Quality Operator

Role summary

The Reporting Analyst will work with key business stakeholders to design and develop reports/perform analysis that encompass a wide variety of business functions from Pricing and UW/Claims etc. He/She will be responsible for providing data driven analysis of business processes that will help support strategic decision making. He will identify and help implement continuous improvements, efficiencies and effectiveness.

Key stakeholders will include: direct team members (Analysts, Senior Analyst, Lead Analyst) Executive Managers and key external client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data collection systems from various competitor websites taking care of data quality as well as identifying anomalies in data captured
  • Use data to create reports identifying process improvement opportunities wherever necessary
  • Analyse data and trends and create documentation to support reports or processes
  • Strong learning and acquisition of key analytical, technical and commercial skills and Quantium business knowledge to become a proficient Analyst working under minimal supervision

 o KPIs: Timeliness, accuracy, manager and client feedback

Key activities

  • Should be able to pick up all the BAU and adhoc reporting work received from the Australian clients and deliver that with high proficiency and within timelines
  • Work with stakeholders to understand key business problems, determine solution requirements, develop relevant codes/scripts/spreadsheet results and ensure these are as per expectations.
  • Experience working on multiple projects with ability to make changes when needed
  • Attend client meetings alongside the Client Lead to understand needs and help translate them into actionable insights

Experience and education required

  • Upto 2 years of experience in a reporting analyst role; ability to organise, plan and prioritise reporting assignments and perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Education Qualification – B.Sc. Maths/Physics/Commerce etc., B.Tech./B.E. completed graduation b/w 2017 - 2018.
  • Queries, report writing and presenting findings using relevant tools
  • Demonstrated understanding of the design and development of reporting tools and dashboards
  • Experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SAS , SQL Server etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; good experience writing medium/complex SQL queries
  • High attention to detail and drive for continuous improvement

What does success look like?

After 3 months in the role the incumbent will:

  • be knowledgeable and able to speak confidently about Quantium’s products and solutions
  • be across all the processes required to deliver against the role
  • be able to work under minimal supervision

After 12 months in the role the incumbent will:

  • be delivering reports/ solutions for our clients using technical/commercial skills
  • define and review approach, code and deliverables in line with clients briefs and Frameworks
  • demonstrate proactivity in owning tasks and seeking development opportunities with support from senior analysts / manager determining development areas, seeking relevant work experience
  • proactive communication on work progress and escalating complexities with relevant stakeholders
