The opportunity 


With our Americas team being established a little over three years ago, we have a new and unique opportunity for a VP to play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of Quantium’s Banking practice, helping our clients to harness data to solve problems that have often, never been solved before.   


Quantium’s Data Science and AI projects and solutions involve teams composed of cross functional talent (data scientists, data engineers, UX designers, software engineers, consultants and more) from both Quantium and clients, blended into one delivery program. Your role will ensure we are creating value for our clients and owning the growth of Quantium’s relationship with our biggest, high priority Banking client.  


You will engage with our key client stakeholders to understand the toughest problems they are trying to solve and you will work with the team to translate those complex issues into data science solutions and commercial opportunities. You will be responsible for delivering a revenue target which will require identifying potential opportunities, developing and leading client relationships, developing and selling compelling propositions as well as advising high performing teams to deliver outstanding client value. 


More about you 


Your experience is likely to include a blend of business development, strategy / management consulting, and program / project management gained in a consulting environment, with projects focused on a data science / analytical solution. You will have demonstrated success in a similar role, ideally with experience and relationships within the Banking industry. 

Working with multiple teams and across different projects, you’ll be a pragmatist and strategic thinker who loves working with clients to solve complex issues. You are comfortable operating in an ambiguous, high growth environment and have previous experience taking ideas from conception through to delivery of a solution. 

We know talent can come in different shapes and forms, but some other key things we need to see from you include:   

  • Proven experience in identifying and converting new work with existing clients 
  • Experience engaging and influencing Head of / SVP level client stakeholders in tier 1 and tier 2 retail banks on complex business issues, leveraging capability to build long-term relationships 
  • Sharp problem-solving skills with experience partnering with clients to solve complex commercial problems using a data driven approach
