The Role

The Quantium health team is rapidly expanding, and we have multiple opportunities available for talented Analysts - Senior Analysts.

The Analyst is a technical role that delivers high quality end-to-end analytical support across one or two projects within Quantium Health as a member of a project team. The role will see you partnering with internal stakeholders and the wider team to execute analytical solutions. You will also manage day to day client engagement and present findings both internally and to clients as required.

The Senior Analyst is a technical leadership role with direct accountability for the delivery of multiple projects including the management of the analytics quality on these projects.


As an Analyst, you will:

  • deliver high quality data analysis, including data quality assessment, ingestion, data manipulation, method selection, design & application, insights generation and visualisation
  • participate in intensive learning and acquisition of technical analytical skills and obtain Quantium business knowledge to become a proficient Analyst working under minimal supervision
  • often in collaboration with your internal stakeholders, transform client questions and problems into analytical solutions
  • communicate analytical solutions in graphical, numeric and written form in concise slides

Success as an Analyst will see you proactively owning more complex tasks and design simple analytic modules, rather than just executing them.

As a Senior Analyst, you will:

  • oversee the delivery of projects or modules within a project to clients, from briefing through to execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • be accountable for the delivery of the module plan, deliverables, and success across for the portion the project they are responsible for
  • be responsible for task management including overseeing and delegating technical tasks amongst analysts
  • use insight to present compelling stories that deliver tangible commercial value
  • Contribute to building capabilities of Quantium Health employees
  • support the Lead Consultant with solution design, business development and thought leadership for our clients
  • Experienced senior Analysts have people management and leadership responsibilities for direct reports (~1-3 direct reports) providing technical support, managing the performance review process and championing your teams career progression within Quantium

Success as a Senior Analyst will see you delivering large, complex, analytical solutions for our clients using your technical and commercial skills. 


  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial studies, statistics, physics, or a related discipline
  • Experience in an analytics environment, carrying out data analytics or data science consulting work
  • Experience with successfully engaging internal and external stakeholders towards delivering an analytical answer
  • Coding and analytics experience in SQL / Teradata/ R / Python / SAS and / or other relevant big data analysis tools
  • Experience with predictive modelling in government / insurance verticals will be highly regarded
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and building analytical solutions to tackle a business problem
  • Experience leading projects will be leveraged for senior roles
  • Flexibility to travel interstate for projects  
  • Australian citizenship essential
