The Role

The HR Consultant will be part of the HR Operations that sits within the People & Culture (P&C) team at Quantium. While the P&C team is all about building the foundation to support our fast-growing business, the HR Operations team is P&C’s “engine room” that manages end-to-end life cycle of all our HR administration and processes, not just in Australia but in our offices globally.

The successful incumbent will report to the HR Operations Lead. He/She and will work in a varied and fast paced environment to run the administration work and be the first point of contact for issues in relation to onboarding, offboarding, background checks, generating contracts and employee change letters, system updates, payroll liaison, and HR projects.

This is a great role for someone who loves HR operations and administration, has an acute eye for detail and is proactive. The successful incumbent will have solid problem identification and solving abilities, stakeholder management skills and will be able to provide sound HR policy advice to all Quantium employees, globally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Being a key member of the operations team and being involved on a day-to-day basis with:
  • Responding to a high volume of employee queries across a variety of topics.
  • Accountable for onboarding and offboarding activities for more than 200 people per year including contract generation, background checks, compliance training session coordination, system access, exit surveys employee photos
  • Updating and maintaining internal systems to ensure that data for payroll and reporting are accurate and up to date
  • Issuing employee change letters globally
  • Supporting on activities in relation to the graduate and intern intakes
  • Responsible for Parental leave coordination
  • Work health and safety coordination and initiatives globally
  • Production of regular and ad hoc reports
  • Continuous focus on implementation of processes improvement and customer experience
  • HR projects and other administrative support as required

Skills, experience and education required

  • Relevant Business / Finance / Human Resources / Psychology tertiary qualifications
  • +3 years’ experience in a similar role working in a fast-paced dynamic, high growth or high change environment
  • Proven experience raising employment contract documentation
  • Prior experience with an online ticketing, HRIS and Payroll systems.
  • Experience operating successfully in an agile and often ambiguous environment
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities to required deadlines
  • Sound analytical and reporting skills
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Comfortable dealing with highly confidential information
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Global HR exposure (desired)

You will be seen as the expert advisor who provides strong options and solutions on all first level HR enquiries across the life-cycle.
