About the Marketing team

The Quantium Marketing team is dedicated to being the driving force behind getting our Quantium products to market and keeping them there.

We represent the voice of the customer to our internal stakeholders, and we are the voice of our products back to our customers. We partner closely with our client-facing, product and customer success teams to oversee all customer lifecycle communication from acquisition to onboarding through to renewals.

We own the positioning and messaging of our brand to market and show how we deliver tangible benefits and ROI to organisations. We keep our user community informed and aware of new product and feature developments, driving engagement and value realisation across our offerings.

Quantium is a high-growth company and as such, it makes being in the Marketing team a dynamic and exciting place to be. In the last 12 months we've expanded in both existing and new markets, and will continue to do so. We're looking for an experienced Brand Manager to join us on this ever-changing journey!

We're a tight-knit team who have each other's backs. If you get stuck with a piece of copy, want to brainstorm a campaign strategy or need to troubleshoot HubSpot, there is always someone to help you out. We love a good laugh, and appreciate the art of a perfectly timed GIF (we use Slack as our company messaging platform).

Role Summary

We’re in an exciting phase of growth and transformation at Quantium. As part of this growth we are looking for an experienced brand strategist to help us evolve and grow our brand identity as well as execute on a number of strategic brand initiatives.

This is a newly created role that will report into the Head of Marketing and Brand. As our Brand Lead, you will be responsible for the design, execution and measurement of key masterbrand strategies to build awareness, recognition and preference for the Quantium masterbrand in the key industries we serve, and in the priority geographies we target. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will be THE go-to person and brand custodian who will champion and guard our brand identity across all marketing programmes and touchpoints.

Initially, you’ll be focussed on bringing the Quantium Masterbrand to life in four key areas:

  • Through our GVP (Graduate Value Proposition); supporting our Graduate Academy and our Recruitment more broadly teams to attract the top talent to come and work at Quantium.
  • Through our EVP (Employee Value Proposition). You will find opportunities from our internal cultural events and engagement programme to create brand identity and brand assets that showcase our Quantium values (we call them our Quantium DNA). These assets will be used strategically in market as part of global brand building and EVP campaigns.
  • Through a strategic C-Suite / Executive event programme to engage select senior audiences within our client and prospect base. The purpose of this programme is to build relationships with key client decision makers and to position ourselves as an industry leader in data science and AI, and as a source of solutions to the challenges facing our clients’ businesses.
  • Through the expansion of our current brand and voice guidelines. As our business and our relevance continues to grow, we need to extend our brand to ensure it remains relevant as our business and our customer’s worlds continue to change and evolve.

This is a varied and dynamic role that is always changing. There is never a dull moment and the role is full of potential to have a very big impact both internally for our people and culture, and externally in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integrated brand campaigns that are authentic to our brand identity and brand messaging and resonate in a variety of countries and across audiences. This will involve working with a variety of stakeholders across our business to ensure their views are considered and their requirements met.
  • Review, iterate and extend our brand architecture, voice and style guides as we continue to evolve as a business. You will be supported to design and implement an internal Quantium brand story and training for new Quantium employees during their induction and onboarding journeys to build internal understanding and support for the Quantium brand.
  • Design, execute and measure (with support from our agency) a best-in-class C-Suite engagement programme.
  • Support and our internal cultural events and engagement programme by creating external brand assets that can be used in brand and EVP campaigns.

Key Activities

  • Effectively partner with agencies to develop impactful content that will feed into the strategic brand campaigns you will run.
  • Provide strategic brand advice and counsel to the organisation, across all the industry verticals that we serve as well as our People & Culture function.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure all brand collateral (presentations, brochures, website pages, social media accounts) is on-brand and on-message across all channels.
  • Support our People and Culture, Grad Academy and Recruitment teams to attract the best talent to come and work at Quantium with collateral and campaigns.
  • Measure and report on the impact of brand initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Within 3 months you will have a broad understanding of our strategic objectives, products and market segments. In addition to this, you will have a very strong understanding of our brand identity, voice and guidelines, and taking advantage of your fresh outside perspective, put forward recommendations and a plan on how to iterate and extend our current guidelines.
  • After 6 months you will have familiarised yourself with our marketing systems (Hubspot, Salesforce and Quantium website), working appreciation of how we currently execute and will be in a position to make recommendations on key areas for improvement (such as our website) that will have the greatest impact on our commercial objectives.
  • After 12 months you will have a well-embedded rhythm of marketing, brand and communications activities, driving tangible outcomes and receiving great feedback from prospects, clients and our internal stakeholders.

Experience and education required

Ideally, you will:

  • Have 7+ year's proven experience in brand and marketing, preferably in the data science / advanced analytics space. In-depth understanding of brand as a discipline.
  • Be a brand and marketing all-rounder experienced in executing brand activity, communications campaigns and projects with exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Be comfortable operating at both a macro and micro level. This role will require you to operate at both ends of the spectrum: we are a small team so you’ll be required to roll your sleeves up and learn how to use HubSpot to execute email campaigns with an absolute eye for detail; flair for storytelling; comfortable putting forward strategy; experience in influencing senior stakeholders to drive collaborative, best-case outcomes for the brand; and owning end-to-end execution.

Nice to have’s:

  • Previous experience or exposure to working in large complex organisations.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce and WordPress is a bonus but not essential, you will be able to learn on the job.
  • A passion for employee experience and diversity, equity and inclusion.
