The opportunity   

As a valued member of the go to market team you will shape the application of data science and AI solutions within the banking industry, helping our clients to harness the power of their data. Our solutions generate better pricing and credit risk decisions, improved channel utilisation (branch, digital and beyond) and more targeted and effective marketing, all delivered at scale.   

Engaging with our clients early on in the sales process to understand their business problem, you will work with the team to translate those complex issues into analytical solutions. You will be responsible for delivering a revenue target which will require identifying potential opportunities, developing and leading client relationships, developing and selling compelling propositions as well as advising high performing teams to deliver outstanding client value.  

Quantium’s Data Science and AI projects involve teams composed of cross functional talent (data scientists, data engineers, UX designers, software engineers, consultants), blended into one delivery program. Your role will be to bring all of this together, selling and overseeing the delivery of transformative data science and AI products and services to solve problems that have often, never been solved before.

More about you   

Your experience is likely to include a blend of business development, strategy / management consulting, and program / project management gained in a analytics business or consulting environment. You will have demonstrated success in a similar role, ideally with experience selling both products and services in Banking or adjacent customer focused industries.  

You’ll be a pragmatist and strategic thinker who loves working with clients to solve complex issues. You are comfortable operating in an ambiguous, high growth environments and have previous experience taking ideas from conception through to delivery of a solution.  

We know talent can come in different shapes and forms, but some key things we need to see from you include:    

  • Demonstrable experience in identifying, targeting and winning new work at existing or new clients and developing deep client relationships  
  • Experience engaging and influencing Head of / SVP level client stakeholders on complex business issues, leveraging capability to build long-term relationships  
  • Sharp problem-solving skills with experience partnering with clients to solve complex commercial problems with data driven solutions
