The Role

Quantium’s Data Science and AI programs are massive strategic undertakings, involving cross-functional squads comprising data analysts, software engineers, UX designers, business analysts and testers. As a Senior Delivery Manager at Quantium, this could be your opportunity to take your career to the next level by leveraging your deep knowledge of agile principles to successfully deliver product initiatives within a multilayered and complex environment.

Our delivery managers ensure they achieve performance efficiency and maximise business value through rigorous and continuous planning, optimizing ways of work for the team, and delivering transparency for effective decision making. We work closely with our squads and Product Owners, and are also supported by and contribute to a wider Agile Delivery Community whose vision is to demonstrate, coach and instil best practice delivery methodologies and grow an industry leading approach to agile delivery for data science solutions.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of new products and features, doing whatever it takes to ensure the team delivers on the vision for the product.  The magnitude, complexity and visibility of these projects require both the rigor of agile project management methodology, as well as the flexibility that comes with a true strategic and commercial delivery manager. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Support teams with product and feature discovery, scoping, planning, estimation and delivery commitment
  • Deploy best practice ways of working to delivery teams, using fit-for-purpose techniques and concepts spanning both Agile and project/program management, such as iterative delivery, continuous improvement and sustainable development
  • Help drive the evolution of delivery best practice within Quantium through the Agile Delivery Community and the wider organisation
