Role summary

The role of the Lead Talent Sourcing Specialist is to develop and implement recruitment sourcing strategies for Quantium globally, with a primary focus on Product, Engineering, and Analytics talent.   The role has ownership to devise the approaches for attracting and engaging the best talent into Quantium through different channels, rigorously measuring effectiveness and adjusting approaches accordingly.  This will include the use of technology to map markets, identify talent and build long term Talent pipelines.  This person will engage and connect with Talent so as to ensure the recruitment team have a steady pipeline of quality candidates who fit the ideal role profile. 


Key responsibilities

  • Develop a global sourcing strategy, aligned with Quantium business strategy, for attracting and sourcing analytics, product, and engineering Talent into the Quantium recruitment pipeline
  • Execute the global sourcing strategy, ensuring there is a constant pipeline of quality candidates for Quantium’s open and forecasted roles in all regions
  • Develop and execute a technology strategy to support the global sourcing strategy to deliver efficient and effective long term Talent pipelines
  • Deliver a pipeline of analytics, product and engineering Talent into the Quantium recruitment pipeline globally to support prioritised business needs
  • Measure and track channel effectiveness including social media channels. Provide regular reports including insights to the Recruiting Team, Executives, and business unit stakeholders

Key activities

  • Work with Executive Recruitment to understand Quantium objectives in in each region and each business unit. Understand the implications for recruiting and the type of Talent that will be needed
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategy by region for analytics, product and engineering Talent
  • Hunt and engage candidates identified via market mapping, cold calling, emailing, Linked-In and through other Social Media channels
  • Leverage alumni and new starters to identify prospective candidates
  • Collaborate with senior recruiters on critical roles, attending briefing / scoping sessions to source at pace
  • Use different Boolean search criteria to source for top talent
  • Create inmail templates for different scenarios and to ensure your response rate is high
  • Add individuals into Linkedin projects to keep tabs on potential candidates and to maintain a healthy pipeline
  • Add notes and reminders onto Linkedin candidates to ensure the recruitment team have the most relevant information
  • Identify opportunities to build Quantium Brand in the Talent market including identification of meet-ups and other networking forums, and opportunities for sponsorship
  • Develop and implement plan for Quantium personnel to attend selected, relevant networking forums. Develop calendar of events as appropriate
  • Input to the Employer Brand approach for Quantium and drive improvements to all Social Media platforms
  • Recommend and incorporate new and innovative sourcing technologies with a focus on automation for ease of reconnects / follow-ups
  • Enter all prospective leads and candidates into candidate management system (either via an ATS or excel tracking)
  • Update recruiter box to reflect candidate status
  • Attend key recruitment seminars/training/events to keep up to date with industry news and networking
  • In conjunction with the Executive Recruiting develop and run regular reports that track and measure efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing by region
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insights on effectiveness and efficiency of channel strategy

Experience and education required

  • 5+ years experience in a recruitment capacity, in a professional services or Technology environment, with at least 2yrs experience focussed on sourcing technical talent
  • Experience attracting talent from overseas and from brand name companies across Australia
  • Intermediate-advanced user of LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office and candidate management systems
  • Experience partnering with senior recruiters and hiring managers, delivering briefs against tight deadlines
  • A strong track record working as part of a global team, reporting into a centralised function
