Lead Recruitment Business Partner - P&T

Role summary

In this role, the Lead Recruitment Business Partner has accountability for the successful delivery of filling all approved and forecasted roles for the Quantium Product and Technology vertical. You will be the primary point of contact to the stakeholders in the business for recruitment requirements in this area. This role will provide guidance, direction and coaching to the business on market trends and recruitment activities. There is a strong emphasis on clear communication and stakeholder management including with the central P&C/Recruitment function. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Head of Talent Acquisition to develop a Product and Technology Recruitment Strategy and annual plan for Australia
  • Source and recruit high quality candidates to meet recruitment targets
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their skill requirements/roles
  • Manage candidates through the recruitment process (end to end), ensuring a best in class candidate experience
  • Be a champion of the recruitment process, embedding and adjusting process per the global recruitment approach
  • Build the Quantium Brand in relevant Talent markets with a focus on P&T talent
  • Manage onboarding process for all new hires
  • Provide expert advice on the Product and Technology talent market to Global Head of Talent Acquisition, Business Stakeholders and recruitment team more broadly
  • Deliver monthly management reporting

Key activities

  • Participate in, and provide expert advice, to the workforce planning process
  • Execute the recruitment strategy, reviewing progress monthly and adjusting sourcing and recruitment approaches to achieve targets
  • Build great rapport with the key business stakeholders to be considered a trusted Recruitment Business Lead. This should be done by meeting weekly with stakeholders to communicate findings around market trends and communicate initiatives that will achieve the forecasted recruitment numbers
  • Identify and implement activities to increase brand awareness (e.g. Hackathons, meet-ups)
  • Monitor Glassdoor and other online forums and input on potential responses to improve brand perception
  • Use your business acumen to translate findings, frustrations and blockers to business stakeholders, making recommendations to resolve any issues
  • Conduct role briefing sessions with hiring managers, supporting them to develop position descriptions and store on the internal system
  • Follow authorisation processes for sign-off of roles prior to recruitment commencing
  • Develop and implement a sourcing strategy for each role type
  • Implement a sourcing plan for open roles and advertise roles accordingly
  • Actively manage the relationship with recruitment agencies and HR providers
  • Manage Recruiterbox and online applications, responding to all candidates within a 48hr timeframe. For quality candidate resumes where there is no fit with existing open roles, store on the recruitment system for future consideration with tags added to their profiles
  • Responsible for setting up interviews of suitable candidates with the hiring manager and candidates
  • Ensure reference checking is carried out and documented prior to hiring
  • Manage the offer and closing process, including all negotiations and preparation on offer letters and contracts, following the hire approval process
  • Ensure the recruitment policy and processes are followed and authorised forms/documents are held in appropriate files
  • Support Quantium HR representatives with all new hires pre-start / onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive transition to Quantium
  • Participate in weekly / fortnightly global recruitment and P&C team meetings
  • Build and improve Quantium’s brand within the external Technology and Product community

Experience and education required

  • 8+ years recruitment experience, with 2+ years operating in a Senior Technology focused Recruiter capacity, ideally in a product focused / Technology environment, with a focus sourcing talent from brand name companies across the world
  • Experience advising and influencing senior executive stakeholders, delivering against tight deadlines
  • Experience in hiring from overseas (relocation)
  • Intermediate-advanced user of LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office and candidate management systems
  • Experience using Advanced Boolean and wider sourcing strategies including community engagement
  • Experience managing the employment contract generation and negotiation process
  • A strong track record working both individually, and as part of a busy team
  • Exceptional English – both written and verbal
